Landscape mode for internet surfing?

My Dad just gave me the x50 without a manual. i've figured a lot out in 3 hours, but cannot get the screen to really fit any internet sites. Is there a way to view sites in full screen without scrolling? I have it working with my wireless network.

Even if you could, you would not really want to as the text would be too small to read. Remember for a full screen, you would be compressing what you see on a 17 inch monitor onto the screen of your PDA.. not good.


Some sites recognise that a PDA is connecting and offer a modified access to accomodate.


Regarding the actual views, you have a number of options when you are connected to the internet, just look under the menu options

I had a program that fooled the internet into thinking you were a regluar pc. I don't remember what it was called. I also (before wm5) used a program to put the pda into true vga. I could see (with my glasses on) the whole screen, and I would sit in my easy chair and wifi on the net. Now that I have wm5 I can't seem to get a true vga looking screen when I use IE. If any one knows of the program that fools the web into thinking we are pcs and how to put wm5 into 640x480 mode please post.
