Sudden Partial Syching problem
I have an Axim X50. I installed Outlook 2002 and ActiveSynch 4.0 and the Axim was synching perfectly for several weeks. Then one day it stopped recognizing that the Axim was even connected. I've done a number of troubleshooting activities. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook. I've upgraded to Windows Mobile 5, I've upgraded to Active Synch 4.2 and have gotten it so that it will synch everything except the Calendar and Contacts. This is most puzzling since it synchs other parts with Outlook fine. Even though I've run a detect and repair on Outlook, it still gives me 3 files that it says do not exist or are not installed properly. I've deleted the partnership and created a new one - most of these things I've done multiple times and still it will synch the notes, files, tasks, etc. but not synch the calendar and contacts. Anyone have any suggestions or work arounds so that I can get this to synch? It is connected to a new Dell desktop computer running WinXP Pro.
