Hi All,
Let me start by describing how I got to where I am now. I installed active sync and had no problems syncing with my home and work computer(standard partnership). As I learned more about it I found that you could sync with a network and Microsoft Exchange. I thought this would be great as I could draft email on Axim and sync to network to blast them out. When I tried to set up a network partnership it wouldn't snyc and error occured.(connection failed due to missing server info or user credentials. I've tried everything Dell reccomended to get it to work. removing firewall, spyware. My problem is that it won't allow me to go back to a standard partnership now untill I sync the 2 devices as a server connection first. I'm stuck in a loop. I can sign in as a guest and transfer data back and forth but not sync. The computer doesn't see the Axim connected on the USB port either. If you click get connected from the active sync window it doesn't detect it on USB, although I know its working because I can transfer data as a guest. I've tried removing and reinstalling driver and active sync but that didn't work. Can anyone help me either get back to where I can sync as a standard partnership or give some other advice. Is there anyone besides Dell support that could provide some hands on support if I can't figure this out ? I.E. an electronics superstore ? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. John
