Got a replacement battery from the ebay seller, it work ok for a couple of weeks, now come to it today its flat and wont charge up, just like the first one I got.
I know you get what you pay for they were only £4.99, but I'm a bit reluctent to pay £23.69 from this site
Dell Axim x50 Battery 1100 mAh Original (x50 / x50v) :: iPAQ Parts and iPAQ Repairs
How do you know who sells good batterys that will last more than a couple of weeks?

hi, silvertaylor, i have just looked at those ebay batterys, the one's i saw came with a 12 Months Warranty, give them a call and ask for a refund or another battery, if not get in touch with ebay and they will get your monies back, how did you try and charge the battery with a car fast charger or with the mains charger, if the battery is totaly flat trying to fast charge it will do it no good, try leaving it on the mains charger for about 12hours and let it slow charge, i personally dont like charging batterys that are flat with a fast charger as they tend to shorten/kill the battery life, try a slow charge first, if that does not work then ask for a refund/replacement, but if the seller ask's only tell him you tried a slow charge, as i have known people refuse to replace batterys that have been fast charged.

I've already had 1 replacement battery, not bothered about getting money back or another battery from them, just want a decent battery.
I did charge it with the mains charger, like I said it was ok for a couple of weeks now it wont charge at all, just like the first battery I got from them.
Dont know if this makes a difference but my original battery is
p/n 35H00056-00 made in China.
Ebay one p/n 35H00053-00 made in Korea.

Have you tried dell, the x51v battery is the same, also battery care is important, never discharging a battery fully is recommended. Initial charge should be for an extended period. Only discharge batteries, ideally to around 40 - 60% before recharging to maximise total charging cycles. Good article here on my friend Liam's Blog about it
