    Syncing laptop to Axim X5

My new laptop has Vista installed. Is active sync 4.2 compatible with Vista? If not how can I go about syncing the Axim X5 to the laptop?

NO AS is not compatible with Vista. You need to download Windows Mobile Device Center from the Microsoft website. It should work fine after that. Good luck.

My Axim X5 has pocket pc 2002 installed. It is not compatable with Windows Mobile Device Center. If I need to install pocket pc 2003 where do I go to download it?

Thanks, I got the laptop to sync with my Axim X5. But now i can't open the .pxl files on my Vista laptop. My pc will still open the .xls when synced with the Axim. I have no problem opening Word files on the laptop, only excel.pxl files. Got any ideas?
