Need help with Hawking 10/100 Fast Ethernet CF card

Hi All,

I just got a great Axim X5 400 on eBay, that included a Hawking 10/100 Fast Ethernet CF+ Card. I updated the OS to PPC 2003 and did a hard reset. Now I need to reinstall the drivers.

I got the PPC 2003 driver from the Hawking site and unzipped them, but there is no setup.exe.

I have ActiveSync 4.2, and can connect fine. I don't know what to do with these files though (I'm a Pocket PC newbie.)

Can anyone enlighten me about how to install this driver properly?

Hi MaxMoor,

If there is a .cab file, you need to copy it to the Axim and run it from Pocket Explorer on the Axim. If there is an .msi file, that will substitute as an installer from your desktop.
