Turbo Tray Overclocking Software

TT is one of the few cool overclocking software programs that take up next to nothing as far as space goes on your PDA and does it for FREE!!!!

I downloaded several versions of the Turbo Tray Software. I have the 300 MHz X5 and this is my outcome from running the different software speeds.

0.91 was made for the Ipaq and only runs up to 300 MHz on our PDA. Its not worth the download.

472 locks up everytime I touch the icon in the system tray. Dont bother downloading this either. Although this is said to have higher bus speeds it still is worthless on the X5 300.

498 Hit the spot. I had my wife playing games on this thing at both 400 Mhz and 498 Mhz with this software and it didnt lock up on her at all. This one is a hit for the X5 300 crew!

A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON OUR AXIM X5.
We have two versions, one is 300 and the other is 400 MHz. The 300 has a slower processor but faster bus speed. When overclocked it will outperform the 400.

The 400 however has the ability to have its bus speed overclocked without major issues. So its happier at slower clock speeds but higher bus speeds.

The two can perform well with different overclocking speeds.

Try both software speeds and find out for yourself what works for you.

So go here and download the 498 version you wont regret it.

Thumbs up

I agree my wife and I have both the 300 and 400 mhz version, and it runs great on the 300. It runs well on the 400 but it is less stable..I found xcpuscalar ran better on the 400 as far as lockups go, with opening/closing the application (which runs at 472, but I dont think you'll miss the extra 26 mhz ). I didn't try xcpuscalar on the 300 as I was more than happy with TT on the 300.

I thought the 300 somehow seemed quicker, but thought it was imagination thanks for mentioning the bus speed thing it makes sense..

I downloaded Turbo Tray last night, added it to my startup folder and set it to 498 MHZ and wow what a difference. It works well, is small and i have no lockups or any problems. THANKS for the great link !!!
