Bluetooth Causing problems

Ok...Ok... I no longer have a problem with TomTom freezing (X5 and TomTom freezing) as I reinstalled TomTom and set it up to use the wired gps, the software now works without freezing.

It would seem that it is the bluetooth that causes the problem. I have a belkin F8T020 CF Bluetooth adapter added, with the timing update, but it seems that as soon as I install the bluetooth adapter, my system slows to a crawl or even freezes. Can anyone help?

I don't think you mentioned in the aforementioned article which ROM version you're using on your X5. You will want to be at either A04 (PPC 2002) or A05 (PPC 2003). Next, you will want to verify from Belkin's site which OS is supported for the driver, 2002, 2003, or both. Also, have you checked for updates on Belkin's site for the software/driver?

Sorry. I have ROM A05 and I have checked with Belkin that it can be used. They said that it only 2k and 2k2 but the link in one othe the other boards (http://www.aximsite.com/boards/749260-post10.html) suggests that it can. If not, does anyone know what CF BT card will work?

Did you follow the full instructions from your link? Do you have the rounded corners card? If yes to both, you should ask eugenia on that thread about it...

I am encountering the same problem as many others who have posted on this site getting a Belkin F8T020 CF Bluetooth adapter working with my Axim. All of the questions regarding this have been referred to this thread (http://www.aximsite.com/boards/749260-post10.html) but the links for the files needed for this procedure are dead. Please help.
