TomTom wired gps receiver question

I have been offered a tomtom gps receiver for free.

Before I buy the software, I need to know if and how I can connect it to my 400MHz, A05 axim X5.

The receiver has a large telephone type connector. Is there an adapter available?

hmmm... I'm guessing that the TomTom receiver can't be used with the X5 then.
