Tomtom 6 Maps Not found

I am still without my TT6 on my Axim X5 after a hard reset. Does anyone still have the Drifter fix. I did have it but I can't find it now.

I have just bought Navigator 6 for my Dell X51. I received the message No maps found. Understand that you can fix this problem The software code is FJ4AC W4TLD DAD02. I previously had Nav5 which loaded without any problem about two years ago. Tom Tom ahve not been very helpful with my problem

I have tried to reload tomtom6 on my dell x51v. I cannot get it to find the maps on the SD card. I understand you have a fix for that or some advise to help with the problem. I had it working once but for some reason it just quit working after a soft reset. I uninstalled everything and reloaded tomtom home, the maps and application but it still does not work.

My email address is sizemore1@cox.net for verification of legal version of Nav 6.

Regarding not finding maps. This is the 3rd time I have seen this reported. Please PM me with your private email address and I will send you a winrar file that you should copy to blank card (5MB) and install TomTom from this , then the maps will be found. This must be a private email address as most company servers will block downloads with exe files etc.

I will need to check that you have a legit version as it against the site rules to support illegal software plus almost impossible to identify why an illegal version does not work


If you have contacted TomTom, well apart from a long wait, the responce will be that they cannot support you as they have only tested tomtom 6 with an X51.

tom tom 6 works a treat on the x5 so dont get downhearted. its even better with the 6.75 map. the GUAM map is there as a reference and not for any illegal reasons , (if its not) you aint got a hope in hells chance of doing any thing with it. THE CHANCES ARE you have listened to someone with a little bit grey matter in his head who thinks hes got more than anyone else. GOOGLE TOMTOM 6.75 the internet has more answers than just one bloke !
