Regarding not finding maps. This is the 3rd time I have seen this reported. Please PM me with your private email address and I will send you a winrar file that you should copy to blank card (5MB) and install TomTom from this , then the maps will be found. This must be a private email address as most company servers will block downloads with exe files etc.
I will need to check that you have a legit version as it against the site rules to support illegal software plus almost impossible to identify why an illegal version does not work
If you have contacted TomTom, well apart from a long wait, the responce will be that they cannot support you as they have only tested tomtom 6 with an X51.

Hi Drifter, I sent a Private PM can you help me out with a step by step guide on installing the Tom Tom 6 Mini/SD card with Tom Tom Home to my Dell Axim X5.
I have tried everything to get it working without success.

Dell Axim 5 -- Tom Tom 6 Maps not found
I installed Tom Tom 6 and Guam map to the internal memory and everything works great, but maps installed to the SD card can be read. What is the fix?

TomTom 6 Maps Not Found
Having similar problem to Bobl. Installed TomTom 6 to Dell Axim to internal memory. Installed Guam map to internal memory and works great, but any maps installed to 2g SD drive are not recognized, i.e. going to Switch Maps in program doesn't show any maps in SD, just Guam map in internal memory.

If someone is referring to a GUAM map, then the chances are that they have an illegal copy and Aximusers do not support illegal software.
Holophyte, please send me your PM again and I will assist you if you have a legal copy and anser my validation question

Tom Tom maps not found on X50
Having read all the previous posts, the problems seem to be with X5s. I have a maps problem with an X50. Is the fix the same as for the x5 or can it be solved in a different way?
Thank you

Drifter
I have got TTN 6/GB on SD card and I will PM as you suggest. I have two other questions - first, can it be installed alongside a previous install of TT (I have been using CityMaps Europe and might want to refer to the street detail) and second, can TT Home be used as normal after the fix has been run?

TomTom Home
Gadget Girl,
I am sure Drifter will help you with the install, as he did for me. However, I can confirm that TomTom Home works perfectly well. I have received all of the updates via Home since the install.
Good Luck
Bob

Thanks Bob
I am hoping to make full use of the extra features in TTN6, especially the speed camera database! Still hoping to hear from Drifter.

Hi forum. I have the same problem, as above. Tomtom 6 doesn't find the maps on Axim X5. Version 5 is working fine.
Can you also send me a PM with a validation question, so I can get the file for the Axim ?
