clock alarm in 2003

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or have I missed an option to choose or something.In PPC 2002 the x5 would switch itself on and sound the clock alarm. Since upgrading to PPC 2003 it won't switch itself on, but will sound the clock alarm when its turned on manually. Any ideas?

Have you enabled sound and notifications under start>system ??

Also check under power that the unit is not set to switch off after a very very short time.

If you have already backed up your x5, then a hard reset would not hurt.
