Tonight my Active Sync stopped working. I plugged in the Axim and when it started to sync, I get a not connected on the desktop. I tried to initiate a sync, with the same results. I changed usb ports, with the same results. I plugged other devices into the usb ports, and they all worked. I reloaded the Active Sync with the same results. I reran the connection wizard, with the same results. I plugged the Axim cradle into one of the two usb ports on the desktop, instead of the hub, same results. When running the connection wizard, it always says there is no connection to the mobile device. It appears that the Axim or cradle is at fault. In trying to determine if the problem is in the Axim, I did a hard reset. ..... VERY Stupid move. Now my machine is blank, and I have no way to restore it. Any suggestions? I called DELL, but got tired of the long wait, especially since I got up at 0415 to go to work for a ten hour day, worked trying to fix the Axim for about four hours. Thanx, Frank
