can't download messages

Hello:

I have an new used Axim X5, and once I got the wireless card installed and working, I was able to get my email wirelessly on it without any problems. Now however, I've been having trouble the last couple days getting email to download to my X5. The wireless connection is good, the signal is strong, and I get the message that it's connecting, sending and receiving, and it even indicates that there are new messages, but then it tells me they can't be downloaded. On one try, one message came in, but then the "can't download messages" notice flashed on the screen. I've checked settings, but see nothing that should be screwing this up.

Any tips?

In my AOL account I have to go to each email and click on download on next sync. It never used to do that because I have chosen the option to download full body. Also I cannot send anymore emails and I cannot connect to my roadrunner account

Well I just tried connection to AOL.com on my PDA, using PIE, and guess what? It tells me thay my PDA dosen't have the most up to date security features in it.

However, I am able to get to the AOL.com website using my Opera browser. It looks as if it will allow you to login, but errors about needing cookies and javascript. Which Opera has both.

Soooo... I am pretty sure AOL has updated beyond the security lelve of your PDA.
