Normally this means that their is a running alarm that is switched on in the calendar. Does this happen evey day at the same time, or a fixed amount of time after the x5 is inserted into the cradle ?
Check the calendar and tasks to see if something is entered.
If tou cannot identify the culprit, You could hard reset your x5, but this will loose all data. Back up using activesync first and then remove both batteries for approx 30 mins ( this is the easiest hard reset).
Test the x5 for this behaivour before re installing software or the backup.
