Does WM2003 support larger cards?

The X5 only recognizes 1GB CF and SD cards with WM2002.

Does anyone know if that limit changes with WM2003?

Dell confirmed that the hardware is capable of addressing larger cards, but their supported WM2002 won't do it.

Yes, WM2003 does support larger cards, with people reporting good results on 4GB cards.

I'v personally used 2GB cards in an X5 without any problems, but remember to install the Cf timing update.

The only problme I've experienced and seen reported by others are with Microdrives, some are not supported ( Magistor)
