Media Player & Copying Music from a CD

This question may belong in the newbie section, but here goes:
how does one successfully copy music from a CD to the SD card on my X5 and play it? I did a straight "Copy" using "My Computer" from my desktop to the SD card. I can see the music selections on the SD card when using my desktop but when I fire up the X5 and turn on the Media Player I can't find or play the music? Help, help

Did you "rip" the music in ACC format? Unless you have an ACC compatible player you won't see the files in the play list. This is particularly true with the Windows media player.
