I would like to use some .jpg format photos as background on my "Today" screen.

I have copied my photo to my Pocket PC File using the .jpg format.
I then go to START, SETTINGS, TODAY and check Use this picture as background. Then Browse. I select the photo to use and then go back to my Today screen.

The photo is there but it is very light in color. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks. <_<

Yeah. Mine faded, too. I wonder why it does it that way? Maybe you can make it SUPER dark, and the fade will compensate?

PPCs across the board seem to have this problem. If you go www.pocketpc.com you can download the theme generator from microsoft. It's free and will allow you to create today themes that are not faded. Also it has the ability to rotate the them.

Yes I had the same problem and Theme Generator does it great. You can just find a graphic and turn it into a really neat Theme in just a couple of minutes.

I'll have to give that a try now that I know Theme Generator is for the PC and not the PPC!

Can we attach downloadable files here? I don't see the command, but that not mean much.

I have a really good (buds at work and I think so it's not a totally egocentric thought) LOTR theme for the PPC. I could upload a couple of others here too...we could start another topic of AXIMUSER'S themes.

Just a thought.

I have had some problems with it. However, give it a shot. The command is directly below the message area that you type in, entitled, File Attachments.

I think I have to set up the proper permissions on the server, and allow the right formats. What format would you be sending it in, .tsk, or .zip?

Okay, part of the problem was a permissions issue with the uploads directory. However, everyone should be seeing the option to upload files.
