Expansion Problems

I have a Dell Axim X5 and it has a CF slot and a SD slot. I am thinking about investing in some upgrade cards. I am going to buy a Wifi Card, Bluetooth Card, and a CF 1 GB Expansion Card. But the problem is that I want to have all three of the cards connected at one time but I dont know if that is possible. Is there some type of adapter to let you have dual CF or SD cards for the PPC?

I have seen a WiFi Card on the Dell Web site with additional storage space on it.

Despite that, it may not fulfill your wish.

First of all, a comment or query, whatever u name it. Why would you want/need to have BT and WiFi connected at the same time?

Now to your question. Sleeves or jackets were common for PPC (iPAQs properly put) at time when the inbuilt expansion slots were not commonplace. Only wide range of sleeves exist for iPAQ series like 36,37,38 etc and atleast I don't know of any such expansion sleeve for Axims.

So you are short of luck. What I would suggest is that better get memory card in SD factor and keep your CF available for other expansions. It doesn't take much to pop out one and pop in the other when you want to switch between WiFi / BT.

Itanium beat me to my little bit of advice: if you want to use wifi, then invest in SD cards for storage (even though they remain much more expensive, per meg).

As I'm still only in the wired world, I plunked down for the 1GB CF card, to hold the music, games, and applications I spend most of my pda time with. :music:
