Axim X5

Hello Everyone!

Well I'm the owner of a brand new Axim 5 (400Mhz). I also own a Dell desktop and Dell laptop.

As I waited for my PPC to arrive, I must tell you all that I'd become very concerned with all the problems people seemed to be having. "Did I make a mistake?"

I ordered all the bells and whistles (128MB SD, TrueMobile 1180 WiFi card, snap on keyboard, cradle, extra battery, screen covers, extra stylus).

"Did I make a mistake?" Well suprise suprise the answer is NO.


The 128MB SD - works great

The WiFi card - works great (using hotspot connection)

The snap on Keyboard is wonderful

The screen covers are "so so" ok


I'm very happy SO FAR!!!!!


The only problem I see is the flaky Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 operating System. Then again that is never a suprise.

Try the belkin screen protectors. They are great.

What ROM version are you using with your "flaky" 2003. If its ROM A04 then you need to update to fix your bugs.
