We setup lots of axims with the same software over and over again. Does anyone know if there is a way to take the "image" of the memory and ghost it to another Axim?
Thank you.

Wouldn't doing a backup from the "host" and then a restore onto each and every Axim do the trick?

It should, but be sure to go into Start/Setup and then the Settings tab. Tap on About and then the Device ID tab and change the Device Name.

Somethimes even when you change the device ID it STILL doesnt work. I just kept trying and never had much luck. If you get it to work please post details.
I think that you need to have the same processor or you will get an error.
Good luck!

Try using Pocket Backup => make an .exe backup on either the SD of CFcard. Put the card in the new Axim, restore and Voila !
I have been doing this for weeks now !

You can actually use Pocket Backup to make a .exe (self extracting) backup?
I never saw that function. I'll have to look. Is it in a newer version?

a .zip will self extract when tapped on the axim. Drop one in built in memory and give it a shot.
