Screen Replacement

My Axim screen cracked while in its cradle recharging. Is anyone familiar with a way to go about replacing the screen. Its virtually unusable in its current state and I am desparate for it to get back to work for me. Thanks.

Wow....what happend? Why did the screen crack? Is it becouse something fell on the screen when the Axim is rechrging?(ouch! >_< ) If not becouse of that, and the screen crack becouse of the recharge (maybe perhaps overheat or to much power)...I suggest you call Dell and get a replcement( but you have to really, really, really explain to them what had happend becouse in case of a screen damaged, Dell would not replace a crack screen even if it is there own foult ...Or you can go to ( http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2/merch...egory_Code=DELL ) there are still some screen replacement in stock...about $55.00. Hope thats help.. ^_^

Thanks for the link. Ordered a replacement because as you stated, Dell will not be useful despite the fact that the screen for some unknown reason spontaneously cracked...Ill be glad to be over this soon...
