syncing Tasks

For some reason there is no check box next to the Tasks listed on the Options page. Using Activesync 3.6 Any suggestions?

I'm sure this is a silly question, but just to clarify.... are you saying you are unable to put a check in the box and therefore unable to sync Tasks?

exactly. there is isn't even a box next to the tasks like there is for everything else.

Do a soft reset on your Axim. If that doesn't work, reboot your PC. I get some "weirdness" in ActiveSync here and there. I think it's just Windows grief.

What version of outlook are you syncing with?

yeah, no luck. I found that if i go into the options then select 'enable syncronization with server' then hit 'configure' and ok out of the boxes without changing anything, i can then click on the task (still no check box) and the check box appears. However when it tries to sync after that it hangs and I have to reset both the pc and the ppc to get it working but then the check box is missing again. what fun! I still love the axim so far.

I hate to even think about it, but it sounds like a line of code is off somewhere. I was going to download 3.6 Monday and give it a whirl, but maybe I will wait.

Has anyone else used Active Sync 3.6 successfully here?

did a complete backup and hard reset the pda. All worked after that. Tried to restore the backup and so far that seems to be working too. I think it is related to my pc and activesync more than to the axim.
