I usually have it with me everywhere...
Only in the summertime when I don't wear a jacket I sometimes leave it at home if I'm going out to a bar or something like that.

I got tons of cargo shorts this summer, so I can always have an extra pocket free for my Axim.
I take it everywhere...just have to remember to take it out of my shorts when I go to the beach!

My Axim never leaves my side. It drives my wife nuts! I have become SOOOO dependent on this thing, I'm becoming uncomfortable with the thought of it ever failing. When I'm home, it's cradled next to my main PC, or it is my hand because I'm connected to my LAN via WiFi. When I'm at work, It's connected by USB cable to my PC. I sync it with both my personal Outlook at home and with my IBM Notes system at work. This thing is great! I've had it for about 4 months now. Working in Systems Integration for IBM GS, I have turned this device inside out with excercises. I am a former Palm OS user (Palm Vx). People can weigh the pros and cons between PPC and PalmOS, and they can debate all day long, but there's no doubt that when it come to compatibilty with the mainstream PC, the PPC wins hands down.
Plain and simple: The PPC is a great device, and the Dell Axim kicks butt!

AMEN BROTHA!!!
I just got my axim this summer, and the first day of school is tomorrow in 8 hours...AHHH!!! but when i went back-pack shopping i made sure it could accomidate my axim. but during this past summer vacation i carried it everywhere because i listen to music wherever i am, check my calendar a lot, need it to call and e-mail contacts, and i keep it in my portfolio type case, which looks like a black address book that I keep all wallet type things in, like driving permit, wouldnt want to get without that! and school ID...etc...

I know what that is like. Since I got mine back in June, it goes where I go. I have lots of extras and they go also. I have one of those zippered lunch bags and all of it goes with me , when I go to work, to the mall, etc. I keep it close to its mommy, The Desktop Computer, all the time when I am home. I just love the thing. Wife isnt too impressed with it as others also. some are amazed at what all it can do and what can go with it.

You mean, it's possible to go somewhere without my Axim? How do you do that? Wait, never mind. I don't want to know. A few years ago, one of my friends said to me that at least his computers weren't grafted to his butt. Look, if you catch me without a computer, then perhaps you came to my funeral, or perhaps it's late September, and I'm on a houseboat with my friends, who will throw into the lake any computers they see me with (the miscreants ban technology for three days!). I even hauled my PPC around Cedar Point, but when it was time to ride the fastest roller coaster in the world, I had to toss it into a locker. :angry2:

Well, I don't do roller coasters. My Axim has for a year now gone with me everywhere but bed and the shower (it goes near bed though, as it is my alarm clock). If it won't do it, I probably don't need it.
