Has anyone tried to add a voice note to a Task? If I create a new task, and then click on the notes tab, and then the little tape icon at the bottom, to bring up the voice recorded, and then click record...I get the following error message:
There isn't enough space for this embedded voice note. Either embedded recordings are not allowed here, or else the CODEC in use (such as PCM) does not provide enough compression.
I know that I have plent of free space, and if voice recording isn't allowed, why is the icon there?
Anyway, this is a feature that would be nice to have...enabling tasks with voice notes attached.
Anyone else seen this?
Thanks

I tried it a few times, even did a soft reboot, but I got the same error.
I did try it on my Compaq iPaq 3955, and it error out on me once when I tried to listen to the recorded note, but after trying it again; it worked fine.

Well, it's nice to know that it is not my PDA alone...(or any software that I may have written or tested on it that corrupted it).
Anyone have a workaround or fix for this?
Thanks for your responses Rommel

OH yeah, also I tried it just now on my AXIM and it worked as well as it can with the poor audio playback.
But it didn't lock anything down or give me any warnings.
I hate to ask pwalessi, but did you do a soft reset and try it again? That is just like Windows it fixes many problems...unfortunately not all.

Elyod ...I did a soft reset on mine, and the problem persisted. Since, I did a hard reset last night, I will try it again.

Ouch!
I hate to hear those 2 words used together..."Hard Reset". Bad business that be.
