Axim and online games - - HELP!

My husband and I love to play monopoly online - against each other. The problem is that we only own one laptop so one of us is always attached to a desktop computer while playing. Instead of spending over $1000 on another laptop so we can play comfortably against each other I was thinking about buying a Dell Axim X5. But I do not know anything about handhelds! Will someone please help me so I can make an educated decision? A few of the questions I currently have are:

Can the AXIM connect to my existing wireless network?

Can we use the device to play online games - especially monopoly on playsite.com?

What additional equipment would I need to purchase for the device?

I'm not the most qualified person on this site to answer this but I'll try nonetheless.
If you have a wireless network currently, all you need to do is buy a Wi-Fi Compactflash card (Dell sells it on its site for $60 odd). I use my wi-fi card to connect to hotspots all the time. It is simple and MUCH cheaper than buying those built in wireless PDAs.
ONce you are connected, you can use the Internet Explorer to surf exactly like you surf on your laptop...so I assume you can play monopoly through a website. As I said, other more qualified people here may answer this last bit better. But you can surely get online by spending $260 (Axim, plus CF wireless card)
