SDIO patch(would it happend?)

The axim doesn't have the SDIO for the SD slot wright?.Well I have read someware the Palm Treo 90 also doesn't have the IO for their devises but Handspring has mad a patch that can be downloaded on thier website that can make non IO Treo 90 models IO ready. Can some day DELL make this patch?. Yes I know that the CF has the IO but it is nice to have both of them has the capabilitys for IO's standerd.I hope they make one for the Axim. ^_^

Well from the way I understand it the Axim does not have the hardware to even do SDIO so a software patch would not work. Though I would be glad to be wrong on this.

I agree. The Xscale processor has the instruction set for SDIO, but if the hardward isn't ready for it, there is nothing much you can do with it.
