The most vulnerable part of axim

the axim has that black "thingy" on top that houses the IR port and CF slot. what i think is, the balck "thingy' is the most vulnerable part of the axim (2nd is the sync port). The balck "thingy" i think is somewhat palstic and you can see all the componemts if you stand in a direct sunlight.
Whats the most vulnerable part do you think?Tell Me

(This is very importent becouse you can protecet you'r axim from fallen or worst (!) )

I would have said the screen is the most vulnerable part.....until my 2year old spilled coffee all over the screen and into the cf and sd ports! shut it off, took out the battery, washed it off and let it dry. been fine since.
I still think the screen would be the most vulnerable to shock damage followed by the IR port-not that it seems to recieve or send more than a foot.

Because if you lose it, you have to use a stylus that won't fit in the little hole?

I agree with whatsurpointnow that the screen is susceptible to shock damage. I'm also thinking that this type of damage would most affect the user. If the system slowed down or if the RAM was somehow cut in half or if the IR stopped working, I'd still use it. But once the screen is damaged in any way (only showing in B/W for example), I'd very quickly get annoyed with it and replace the whole thing.

wow thats a real cry for a date....

I agree about the screen. I also am concerned about getting "junk" in the sync port. And yes, losing the stylus. I dont want to buy the styli from dell but i should... i almost lost my stylus the other day.. i was freaking out. It actually works ok with my fingers, but for that little detail stuff... its a must have.
