my SC card always get deleted after a while

I need to format it ocassionally since it is not recognized any more (it shows 0 MB on 120 SC card...).
I wonder what may cause this strange behavior.

This is a long known problem with Sandisk SD cards... I find it ludicrious it hasn't been dealt with yet, but this issue long pre-dates the axim. I don't really know what to say about it, you could complain and send it back, depending on who you bought it from.
