I've spent 3 tedious days trying to get my new Axim talking to my IBM XP Pro laptop.

The laptop message says:
USB Device Not Recognised
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.

Not surprisingly the 'unknown device' doesn't have a driver installed. I've tried installing from the CD but it can't find a suitable driver.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can proceed?
