Extra items in Start Menu

I'm trying to learn the ropes with my new Dell Axim. Downloaded a few apps from the Web, and discovered that some now appear twice on my Start Menu. Worse, in each case one of each pair is checked and cannot be unchecked ("Unable to move that item"). Any advice as to how to get rid of the unwanted items? It's not the double listing as much as the fact that I don't want these items on my start menu at all, since one can only have 9 total...

go into file explorer, then make sure your in my device, it will tell you at the top. next go to windows, then into start menu, and you will find all of the shortcuts here. you can delete them and they will not show up anymore. i had this problem with a program that i removed and the icon remained. best of luck!

And if more than 9 go in there, which can happen if apps install themselves, is it will cause the menu to scroll, btu the skin will stop working for it. It won't harm it or cause it not to work though, it will jsut be... not skinned =/

hmm... yeah, File Explorer -> Windows -> Start Menu

and delete, move, or add whatever (above and beyond the limit of 9 even)
