Contacts not listing for "Attendees" picking

I was under the impression that the "Attendees" list provided when creating a new appointment pulled directly from the Contacts list. However, I have found multiple instances in which individuals listed in my Contacts are not available when creating an appointment.

Some poeple I would just as soon not include, but a few of the missing are friends. :-)

I have verified time and again that the names are in my Contacts. I can not find anything 'special' about them.

Any thoughts?

The problem is that for attendees, the contact entry MUST have an email address. You will find that the ones you cannot pull in do not have an email address listed. Hope this helps.
