X30 Down for the Count
I have a 2-year-old X30 that has seen light use and has worked flawlessly until a few weeks ago. During a trip the unit gave me a lost power warning on what should have been a fresh battery and shut down. This warning asked me to push a button, the second from the left of the lower "big 5" to restore at the risk of losing data. Pressing this button restored the session. After getting the unit home and putting it back in the cradle, it will now not start up at all even though the battery shows fully charged. If you push the power button while the unit is in the cradle, nothing happens. The green light remains lit. Out of the cradle, the light goes off and does nothing when pressed. Upon replacing in the cradle, the charge light shows orange for a while, then turns green again.
Any ideas from anyone? I hate to ditch this cool tool. I am new to this forum and open to any reasonable, or not so reasonable, suggestions. Thanks.
