wireless connection

Ok I have used my Axium 30 in countless wi fi areas and gotten in without so much as a click on a dialog box that says the connection is how I get to work. I can not for the life of me get the dang thing to work with my home wireless router. What in the heck am I doing wrong?

When you open the wireless box, does it show your home network?
