X30-Problem with playback of Video

Hi, if anyone can help that would be great,
I have re-coded an avi file using Omnoquiti compression ( like PocketDixvEncoder) and saved it to a 1Gig SD Card.
When I try to play the file from Media Player, I get an error message saying 'there is no application associated with this device.Run the application first, then open the file from within the application.' I think I know what this means so I open Media Player, but cannot find the SD card from there.I am having the same problem even if the Video is not compressed ( i.e. an AVI file )
Help me please ?

When you open Media player, go to menu/library, and then in the library, go menu/open file and it will take you to the file system where you can browse to your SD card

First of all, with most of the formats you can convert to, I have found the media player to be pretty much worthless. Unless it's the precise format media player recoginizes, forget it. I then went on the hunt and tried many programs. Thus I came across SOMPY player and converter. Not only was I looking for a player, but a converter, in which both could work hand in hand. Other converters and players would either end up out of sync with the audio upon playback, or just not very good compression quality. Even more, SOMPY is absolutely free! No limited time or locked options. Which begs users the question why the creators arent charging to buy the thing, since it works so well :-)
