ActiveSync not found-rename connection MANY /// GPS Tuner V5 install troubles

I have been having much trouble keeping an activesync driver in my pc. If I turn on my laptop and haven't got my cradle attached it will ask me if I choose to remove the device (in popup window) I choose not to remove the device, and if I choose to connect the cradle at some other time I can still use the same connection. But other times I will need to run the connection wizard program and it directs me to rename my connection (have previous connections with same name) I am now on my 8th subdivided connection. How do I erase all those other connections from my pc or axim? I am new to PC (kinda) and new to axim X30H wm2003se AO5. One other thing.....has anyone been able to install GPS Tuner v5 with Pharos i-360 to there Axim? When I try to run the GPS TUNER *it is an offroad, waypoint type navigational plotting software with many options* it gives me a blinking green power light (gps is serial powered) and knocks out my original pharos gps driver /// must do hard reset and reinstall backup because it partiually locks up-slows down my system. Still not able to run GPS TUNER. Thanks

Hi, What version of Activesync are you using ???. If not already doing so, I would suggest you upgrade to 4.1 or higher as this solves a lot of connection problems.

Also to remove the connections already made with your PC, have a look at this thread... Removing hidden Com ports on PC / High com numbers.

Also if you are hard resetting your axim, remember to give the axim the same name again, or your PC will see it as a new machine.
