    Hi-

Sorry for the late response. Can you tell us what firmware revision you are running on both your X3i and your router? Is your router set to mixed mode or 802.11b only? Are you using encryption, and did the software ask you for a key if so? Details will help greatly.

Sorry i do not know how to check my firmware version on either my router or Axim. Can you tell me how to do that? Its set to 802.11b only. I dont know it will help but we run our linksys through our cox server and our cox version is 1.3 and our linksys is 1.5. Im not sure about the encryption thing and the key is checked saying that it is already provided for me.

The first thing you need to do is learn how to program your router. It isn't like programming in code, it's moreso checking boxes for options so don't let the word "programming" scare you.

To enter your router programming, first find its IP address. On ytour desktop go to Start-->Run(enter)-->cmd(enter)-->ipconfig /all(enter) View the results and write down the "default gateway" address. Type that address into Internet Explorer or your favorite browser without using www.

You will arrive at the login page for the router. Most Linksys password defaults are a blank username and admin as the password.

Once you're in the router you can check the firmware revision and encryption options.

The Axim's firmware version is found in Start-->Settings-->System-->System Information on the Axim.

Once i enter all the stuff on my browser it says cannot establish a connection to the server at "my default gateway ip adress"
Also on my X3i it says rom version A02(04080402EN)
is that the firmware, i dont see anything about firmware?

P.S. Thanks for all the help
