Uploading Programs

Hi I have an X30 that i have been using for a few years now. Recently i have been unable to sync with my pc, after reading several informative threads on your site i find that i have a bent pin in the usb sync lead. Unfortunately whilst try to sync i did a hard reset and lost several program, is there any way of loading these programs without the usb connection. Anyone know if it is possible to get the pin repaired in the UK.

If its a pin in the lead, you can just buy a new lead. If you mean in the connector, then unfortunately it is a send in repair that will cost you more than the PDA is worth.

I recently purchased an x3 with 3 bent pins which I was able to straighten my self with a small screwdriver and pincers.

I fould it a help to take the back off the PDA also so that I could push the pins forward as they had also moved backwards.

Taking the back off the X30 is very easy to do, 4 screws under the grey rubbers which pull out, the a credit card or similar used between the case parts.

You could sync via bluetooth also.
