Max SD card capacity for X3i?

Hi all. I am looking at purchasing a *mint* condition Axim X3i for $100 CDN. The fellow bought it, used it for a few weeks, and then put it away when his company bought him a smartphone. My question is, what is the highest known capacity of SD card for this unit? I would like to use 1-2GB cards, although for the price I would be willing to accept a 512MB card limit. Any lower than that however and I will pass on this PDA.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should have no problem with a 1Gb card and a 2Gb should also work. Although I do not have an x3i to test a 2GB. I can use 2GB cards in an x5 and that is an older design.

1GB cards will work for sure as I have tested that combination.

the x3i works just fine with a 2gb card

The <=2GB cards are usually the standard SD cards. But beware of some newer cards that us the SDHD format designed for >2GB cards, as smaller cards can be manufactured according to the new standard.
