Wifi Trouble - unrecognized card

Hello all,

I am having some trouble with my beloved Axim X3i. When i start the WIfi up i get the bars going across the screen. However i alos get a popup that says "'Unrecognized card' Enter the name of the device driver for this card. For information, see the card manufactre's documentation." Also in the popup box is a space to enter the 'Network card in Socet 1'

Has anyone else had this error? I really miss the Wifi capabiitities i used to have.

I tried completely re-starting and re-installing my unit but it did not help. I also re-installed all the updates and drivers from Dell.

Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately this error has been reported in the past to be a hardware problem.

Dell issues replacement units to users with this error if they are within the warranty period.

If you are out of warranty, hard reset and hope that the problem goes away.
