Will X30 play movies from 512mb or 1gb SD card?

Just wondering if my Axim will play movies, music and appliacations from a 512MB or 1GB SanDisk SD card? I've heard the larger cards can slow things down but cannot recall if that was just for Palm PDA (just switched sides).

Yes I can get 4 full length movies on my 1gb scandisk card, all are perfectly watchable

Try betaplayer viewer and PocketDivX encoder. Both are quick, easy and free! For Palm I used VDub/GordianKnot combo which was rather confusing due to the number of choices but created movies of much smaller size and equivalent quality than PDX.

The DVD to pocket PC software shown in the link is not free but works really well so is worth the investment in my opinion.
You can copy DVD's or convert AVI or MPEG files into WMV. I use the Windows media viewer

btw most dvd/svcd/vcd can be shrunk in the 100 meg per cd , so expect at least 200 megs fer a movie.
