I've had an Axim X3 for a while now, and the wifi has recently stopped working. Specifically, when I hit the button on the right to activate wifi, the progress bar fills partway up, then a dialog pops up:

The dialog contains a text input field, with a default value of "Network card in Socket 1". If I hit OK, the system will behave strangely. It finishes filling up its progress bar, but the blue light for the wireless card never comes on. Going into the Dell WLAN Utility nets an error message about the card not being enabled, but hitting the right-side wifi button a second time initiates the deactivation sequence, as if it indeed was activated.
Any ideas what has happened to my device?
