Chances are that you are connecting fine to your router. The problem is more than likely that your TM 1200 card on your Axim is set to work, and is thus not finding the internet connection. Make sure that your Axim's TM 1200 adapter has Internet choosen in the drop down box in the network adapters settings area. Try it once the setting is changed, and I bet it works.
Also, to get this setting to change, you might have to go into the ActiveSync options on your PC. Click the rules tab, and then select Internet from the drop down menu in the PassThrough section. Once you've made the setting change, connect and sync your Axim. This should change the setting on your TM 1200 adapter if you are not able to get the setting to stick by changing it on the Axim itself.
When the Wireless adapter is set to internet, it looks for a direct connection, and thus will find the internet.
