    Hi,

When i play mp3's on my Axim and the titel changes... there is always a short noise (it crackles like this -> "zzp") bevor the next song starts.

    Is this normal?

Yes, this is completely normal and could be your mp3 itself or the axim. The sound upgrade may help. Search the site/download area I believe its in there.

I dunno about the german issue but if you have an x3 there is no sound fix (woops sry forgot to check which forum we were in) But even mp3's on my pc sometimes aren't ripped perfectly and you will get a slight buzzing especially in the begining when it is quiet. This distortion will be even worse if your listening on the external speaker, but I have found the audio output to work ok. Especially because you aren't usually listening on headphones through your pc and with the sound so close to your ear its easier to distinguish the less then cd quality.

    Hi,

Its at the beginnig of every Mp3. Always a "clack" and then the songs starts. On the speaker of the Axim i can hear it also.

It still may be your mp3. Did you rip them all yourself with the same software?

    Hi,

No it's defenetly not my MP3'3 because this short sound comes bevor EVERY MP3. The crackle is not loud but u can heare it. And its only ONE short crackle bevor the song starts.

    Hi,

PLZ answer me =(... U can easily test it. Start Media Player und klick one song forward und listen carefully. Than tell me if there is a short crackle bevor the next songs starts -_-

I think this is cause by WMP when it buffers MP3 files.
I know when my friend updated his Pocket PC Phone Edition to the latest WMP, he started hearing sounds before each start of the files.
