Upgrading my Software

I have an Axim 30x and it is running version 2.02 and I just bought a Axim X51v and am running version 3.10 and here is my problem. I recently bought both units and don't have software for my Axim 30x, but I do have software for my x51v, but when I install my 30x into a u.s.b. port the outlook software that I got with my x51v won't recognize my 30x unit; is there any way to get the 30x to be recognized by this software?
