Axim Users Dot Com Logo Contest

It's been quite some time since Axim Users Dot Com has had a contest where we give away Rhino Skin cases and software from WebIS, Ballshooter Games, and Clickgamer.

It's that time of year again, and we're in need of a new logo (it's about time) that incorporates the X50 as well as the X3x and X5 Axims. The details are as follows:

1) Design a new logo for Axim Users Dot Com that is at a maximum, 300 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall.
2) It must stay within the current color scheme of the site (shades of blue).
3) Contestants must provide larger versions of logo for potential use in t-shirts and web media.

The winner of the logo contest will receive:

A Rhino Skin case of their choice
1 Game from Clickgamer
1 Game from Ballshooter Games
1 Copy of Pocket Informant from WebIS

Runners up (4 of them) will receive:
1 Game from Clickgamer
1 Game from Ballshooter Games
1 Copy of Pocket Informant from WebIS

The contest ends on November 30, 2005. The winning logo will be selected no later than Dec. 15, 2005.

Winning logo to be used by Axim Users Dot Com at Computer Ninja's discretion.

Pushed back yet again? Man, now I can procrastinate even more!! Sweet. This current logo is kind of growing on me though. Very... edgy.

Pushed back due to grief. Although, the current logo is new, due to site re-launching. You have to best that logo to be chosen. Contest entrants will still be eligible to win prizes, even if the logo isn't used on the site.

I mean, can i send 2 or 3 different alternatives?

300 pixels wide (left to right)? (you should better tell us the aspect ratio, as we may send you a high resolution version and the small resolution version)

do you need aplications in black and white? (does the logo is going to be used in black and white?)
will you scale the logo to different sizes? (important, as some desings may suffer when used in biger/smaller sizes)
in what sort of file format do you need it? (if you need a high resolution version please advise file format).

Is there any specific e mail adress to send the files? ¿What other info might you need?

Actually, you can post them here.

The current logo is 350 pixels wide (left to right).

The high resolution version would be used for future t-shirts, signs, stickers, etc.

For the purposes of the contest, just post small versions of the file. When winners are chosen, I'll ask for larger versions.

hahaha yesss, I was going to have to squeeze this contest in this weekend... but we have Districts in cross country and I'm trying to finish my college application essay!

This current logo is kind of growing on me though. Very... edgy.
