Computer Ninja and his team have worked really hard to recover the site after the malicous site attack on the 15th October 2005.

Our thanks to them all for the hard work.

If anybody works in the area of IT loss prevention, Computer Ninja can probably hand over log and IP information to start an inquiry that hopefully can lead to prosecution.

What happened? I haven't checked in here for a few weeks, the site was "attacked?"

15 October some one hacked into the site on the server and overwrote the entire database,Forums, member details etc with the same meaningless message.

Anyone trying to access the site was redirected to a meaningless site.

Computer Ninja had no option but to close down the site and reboot from an earlier backup.

Unfortunately about 6 weeks of data was lost.

Wow I feel really sorry for you Computer Ninja, a year of hard work posts, contributions and everything gone because of a f***ing hacker (excuse the language). Is there anything I can do to help in any way?
