A bit late on this...sorry!

Shortly after Microsoft unveiled Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition in March, Dell announced that it wasn't going to release updates for any of its current Axim Pocket PCs.

Unsurprisingly, this decision wasn't popular, as Pocket PC users have long been accustomed to receiving upgrades whenever a new version of the operating system is released. Owners of Axim X5 and X3 models immediately began several petition drives to urge the company to change its mind. These garnered thousands of signatures from users asking Dell to release an upgrade for their handheld.
