Not really bothered about the contest, although I won't complain ! However, I just think this is a great picture from the south of Spain, reminds me of the cheesy days of Simon Templar & the persuaders etc..

Ok to keep it going, here is another one of my pictures. Again, I cannot win in the contest.

I've seen too many pictures of Mt. Rushmore (South Dakota) showing only the faces of the presidents, so I decided to take a picture of the entire rock.

Well, hi, I'll let my first post be a photograph, too. Nice competition! There are way too many good pics as competition already.

This is a photo taken at the Ponce Inlet lighthouse in Florida (looking down, woaaaaaah!). It's actually not retouched - the Sony Mavica digitial camera I took it with has a "sepia" mode, for an old-time look to pictures. I use this as one of my today screens.

This is a shot of the southeast end of the valley that Sarajevo sits in. Taken a few years ago with a Nikon 35mm, about half way up the opposing mountain side. The hazy appearance is a combination of early morning fog and smoke from the fireplaces in the homes.
