Hello,

I am a new owner of a Dell X51V PDA. My issue is to do with Syncing my outlook contacts, calendar and notes.

I can connect via active synce the PC and PDA and have installed for example .net files from Microsoft from my PC to the PDA. I have transferred CAB files from the PC to the PDA and installed on the CAB files from the PDA.

I use active sync to sync my window mobile phone (the PDA has a different device name) without issue.

When I connect my PDA to the PC, active sync reports that it is connected, however the green circle just goes round and round when it attemps to sync my calendar, contacts and notes until I cancelled. i do not get the sync staus bar or the text "looking for changes".

I have uninstalled and reinstalled active sync, added the active sync programs to zonealarm firewall, run fix PST on my outlook PST file. Looked at different forums for an answer for over a week.

ANY HELP would be greatly appreciated.

btw.
My OS is windows XP (activesync).

I have tried to both a soft reset, hard reset while connected to PC and again before connecting the USB.

Now active sync is not allowing me to select contacts, only calendar and task is available.
Help….
